PROFILE

Dr. Prashant Kale, who is a Professor of Strategy and International Business at the Jones School of Business, Rice University and at the Michigan Business School will be the primary faculty for the program. His research and teaching focuses on Corporate Strategy, Strategic Alliances & Joint Ventures, and Mergers and Acquisitions. He has published articles in reputed international journals such as the Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, MIT Sloan Management Review, European Management Journal, Managerial and Decision Economics, Academy of Management Proceedings, and has received recognition in numerous international conferences. Prashant has worked in the industry for several years and has held management responsibilities with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, ICI Plc., in different countries. He has been engaged in consulting, teaching or research assignments with international companies such as Diamler Benz, Shell, SKL, Statoil, Accenture, EY, GE, Cargill, Hewlett-Packard, Pfizer, Bausch & Lomb, Quintiles, etc and Indian companies such as the Tata Group, Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, ITC, Infosys, Bharat Petroleum, NTPC and several others. He is also a Visiting Faculty at the Wharton School, Kellogg School of Management, Indian School of Business, and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has received over 20 awards for Excellence in Teaching and has also been rated among the Top 10 Business School Professors in the US by Bloomberg Businessweek.
